A round up of recent cases at Oxfordshire's Magistrates' Courts
OXFORD
Raphael Ashley, 46, of Paradise Square, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on October 20 last year. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £50 compensation and £50 costs.
Kayleigh Sandom, 21, of Howard Street, Oxford, admitted drink-driving with 44 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath in Cross Street, Oxford, on April 1. Fined £85 and ordered to pay £30 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Also banned from driving for 12 months.
Damien Wheldon, 19, of RAF Benson, admitted drink driving with 54 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath between junctions six and seven of the M40 on April 2. Fined £290 and ordered to pay £70 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Also banned from driving for 16 months.
Christopher Lemonius, 19, of no fixed address, admitted possessing cannabis in Oxford on April 1. Fined £20 and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge.
Michelle Colcutt, 35, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted stealing food worth £13.95 from Sainsbury’s in Oxford on April 15. Given 12 month conditional discharge.
Jason Davies, 36, c/o Sadlers Court, Abingdon, admitted stealing a bottle of perfume worth £42.95 from Debenhams in Oxford on April 2. Given a 12 month conditional discharge.
Dominic O’Neil, 68, of no fixed address, admitted being drunk and disorderly in the Head of the River pub, Oxford, on April 14. Fined £150 and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge.
John Mountford, 33, of St Martins Road, Oxford, admitted stealing food worth £7.11 from the Co-op in Oxford on March 26. Fined £50 and ordered to pay £50 costs.
Sami Din, 26, of Thame Road, Stadhampton, admitted drink-driving with 78 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath and driving without insurance in Little Milton on April 1. Fined £600 and ordered to pay £60 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Also banned from driving for 20 months.
DIDCOT
Martin Jenkins, 21, Berry Croft, Abingdon, convicted of stealing 24 cans of lager worth £19.50 from the Co-op in Steventon on January 14. Ordered to do 60 hours of unpaid work and to pay £6.48 compensation and £50 costs.
Sean Chalmers, 21, of Couldrey Close, Abingdon, admitted assault by beating and common assault on March 1 in Abingdon. Given 12-month supervision order and ordered to pay £40 compensation and £30 costs.
William Cumber, 30, of Mill Road, Marcham, admitted drink-driving with 107 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood in Abingdon Road, Culham, on February 1. Fined £290 and ordered to pay £60 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Also banned from driving for 16 months.
Glen Mason, 20, of Downs View, Aston Tirrold, admitted drink-driving with 123 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of urine in Moulsford on March 8. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £60 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Also banned from driving for 12 months.
Andre Rensburg, 31, of Chequers Place, Cholsey, admitted driving without insurance and driving other than in accordance with a licence in London Road, Blewbury, on March 26. Also admitted possessing three wraps of cannabis in Blewbury on the same date. Fined £500, ordered to pay £60 costs and given six penalty points.
Geoffrey Allen, 50, of Sharland Close, Grove, admitted being in charge of a motor vehicle with 137 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, in the car park of the Four Pillars Hotel in Abingdon on December 19 last year. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £60 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Also banned from driving for 12 months.
Richard Evans, 22, of Marlborough Gardens, Faringdon, admitted drink-driving with 51 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath in London Street, Faringdon, on March 26. Fined £85 and ordered to pay £30 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Also banned from driving for 12 months.
Ben Scott, 21, of John Morris Road, Abingdon, admitted common assault in Abingdon on February 13. Given a 12-month supervision order and ordered to pay £50 compensation and £60 costs.

Marianne Aben-Beerling, 62, of Milton Common, admitted using a vehicle without insurance in Greyhound Lane, Thame, on September 30 last year. Fined £400 and ordered to pay £60 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Also given six penalty points.
Emma Baker, 30, of Colemans Hill, Headington, admitted using a vehicle without insurance and driving other than in accordance with a licence in London Road on September 28 last year. Fined £135 and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge. Also given six penalty points.
Emma Carr, 30, of Carswell Circle, Upper Heyford, admitted using a vehicle without insurance on the A41 in Bicester on November 7 last year. Fined £450 and ordered to pay £60 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Also given three penalty points.
Filippo Cavaliere, 37, of Sherwood Avenue, Abingdon, admitted speeding at 53mph in a 30mph limit in Faringdon Road, on October 10 last year. Fined £230 and ordered to pay £60 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Six penalty points.
Matthew Collaire, 35, of Pine Close, Blackbird Leys, Oxford, admitted using a mobile phone while driving on the A34 near Abingdon on October 18 last year. Fined £60 and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge. Also given three penalty points.
Kenneth Coyle, 18, of Field Avenue, Oxford, convicted of using a vehicle without insurance and driving other than in accordance with a licence in Comfrey Road, Oxford, on October 12 last year. Proved in absence. Fined £700 and ordered to pay £80 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Also given six penalty points.
Christopher Crowshaw, 31, of North Drive, Grove, convicted of using a vehicle without insurance in Cowley Road, Oxford, on September 29 last year. Proved in absence. Fined £525 and ordered to pay £80 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Also given six penalty points.
