A teenager was injured after he was attacked with a wheel brace in Blackbird Leys.
Between 10.30pm and 10.50pm last Sunday, June 14, the 19-year old was leaving a corner shop at the junction of Pegasus Road and Crowberry road when he was approached by a man.
The attacker hit him over the head with a wheel brace, used causing him to fall to the floor where he and two ther men kicked him.
The man with the wheel brace has then used it to smash the window of the victims’ car.
The man was taken to hospital where he received treatment to a head injury.
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and has been released on bail until Friday, July 17.
Police are now appealing for wtinesses.
Pc Ron Polden, who is investigating the incident, said: “I understand that the shop was quite busy at the time of the incident and that there were a number of people out in the street.
“I would like to hear from these people as they have some important information that could help me with my investigation.”
