TRIBUTES were yesterday left at the scene of a crash which claimed the life of a motorcyclist.
The 30-year-old man, who has not been named, died when his black and orange Honda motorcycle crashed in Burford Road, Carterton, on Thursday at 6.45pm.
The biker is thought to have crashed into an electricity pole.
He was riding along Burford Road, towards the junction with Monnhan Way, with two other riders. No-one else was injured in the incident.
Bunches of flowers were left beside the electricity pole.
One note said: “In memory of Steven. With deepest sympathy and greatest respect from the station commander and personnel of RAF Brize Norton.”
Another tribute said: “In memory of Steven. A much loved and respected friend and colleague who will be sadly missed. From all at SAMO and all at the air movs sqn.”
