Police are appealing for witnesses following a break-in at an industrial unit in Thame, where gardening equipment worth more than £17,000 was stolen.
The burglars broke into the unit on the industrial estate off Jane Morbey Road some time between 1am and 2am on June 4.
Fourteen chainsaws, one power pruner, three ‘shred ‘n’ vacs’, seven brush cutters and one hedge cutter totalling £17,648 were taken, though it was only after a stock take this morning that the scale of the theft became known.
PC Andrea Smith said: “There is a housing estate behind the industrial estate and we are very keen to hear from anyone who might have seen or heard anything around this time.”
Anyone with information can contact PC Smith via the Police Enquiry Line on 0845 8 505 505. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
