Two men have been arrested on suspicion of arson after two fires in the Bicester area over the weekend.
The men, aged 18 and 19, were arrested following a fire at a stable block in Blackthorn Road, Launton, which caused more than £6,000 damage. No animals were harmed.
The other incident involved a hedge being set on fire in Mill Lane, Arncott.
Det Insp Steve Duffy said: “These arrests are part of an ongoing investigation we are carrying out in relation to a series of 14 arsons in and around the Bicester area.
“These range from very minor fires in bins to very serious incidents.
“This is still very much an active investigation and we are very keen to speak to anyone who might have any information.”
