ANTIQUE jewellery and cash was stolen from a pensioner’s home in a distraction burglary.
Police are appealing for witnesses after two men went to the home of a 81-year-old woman in Kelburne Road, Cowley, at 2.15pm on Sunday.
They claimed they were doing work in the garden but got inside and stole cash and antique jewellery.
One man was described as aged in his early 20s, about 5ft 11in tall and wearing a white T-shirt and light-coloured trousers.
The other man was aged about 40, of large build and wearing a checked shirt.
Both were white.
