Police are appealing for witnesses after a series of robberies in North Oxford.
At about 2am today, a car pulled up to a 28-year-old man who was walking along Woodstock Road.
Two men got out carrying hammers and one of them threatened the man and stole his wallet and mobile phone. The victim saw two other men sat in the car.
At about 12.30am today, a 19-year-old man was pushed against a wall in Capel Close, Summertown, by two men who stole his wallet and mobile phone.
At about 4am yesterday, a car pulled up to a 23-year-old man in Walton Street. Two men got out and one threatened him with a screwdriver and stole his mobile phone and wallet.
The men were of mixed race, aged in their late teens and were wearing dark clothing with scarves covering their faces.
Det Con Rob Barratt, of Oxford’s Robbery Team, said: “We believe the three robberies are linked. In all incidents the men were seen to get out of a dark coloured hatchback.
