Police today appealed for help after a man was found in Oxford suffering serious head injuries.
The man, who has not been identified, was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford after being found in St Aldates at about 10pm last night by a member of the public.
The 44-year-old man was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital and is in a serious condition.
Det Insp Simon Morton, who is leading the investigation, said: “We are in the early stages of our investigations.
“We are trying to determine how this man sustained his injury and exactly what happened and I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident to contact me.”
