KATHARINE House Hospice is £1,000 better off thanks to beer lovers.
Brackley Round Table raised the cash for the Adderbury-based hospice at its annual beer festival last summer.
Members are now urging people to put the date for this year’s event in their diary.
The ninth beer festival takes place on Saturday, July 25, in Brackley Town Hall and nearby piazza.
There will be 48 barrels of ale to try out, including guest ale from the Czech Republic, as well as the usual range of ciders, lagers and soft drinks, and live music all day Treasurer Chris Brennan said: “Every year we raise about £5,000 which is donated to local charities and worthy causes. We believe Katharine House Hospice is a local and worthy cause.
“This year we have also donated £1,000 to Brackley Cottage Hospital and £1,000 to Warwickshire and Northants Air Ambulance.”
