MORE than one hundred children took part in a fun day of activities to encourage youngsters to get out into the open. Bushcraft, kayaking, cookery, and riverside walks featured at the Riverside Centre beside Donnington Bridge, Oxford.
Oxfordshire County Council is one of three local authorities in the South East to be given £2.5m of Government money to spend on developing outdoor play spaces.
Children from schools and youth clubs around the county took part in the event and reported back on which were their favourite activities.
