A 48-year-old man has been arrested by police investigating the murder of Devon McPherson in Oxford.
Police raided a house in Shepherds Bush, west London, at 12.15pm today. The man — who has not been named but is known locally as Champagne — has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being taken to a police station in Oxfordshire to be questioned.
Mr McPherson, 42, of Divinity Road, died after he was stabbed in the neck in shortly before midday on Monday, May 18.
Witnesses saw the father-of-nine arguing with a man in Ridgefield Road shortly before he stumbled and collapsed outside The Regal nightclub.
Det Chief Insp Mick Saunders, who is leading the investigation, said he was still appealing for anyone with information to contact officers investigating the murder.
