Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision that occurred today on the A34.
Police said at about 1am, a black Volkswagen Golf, which was travelling northbound, left the carriageway and collided with a lorry parked in a lay-by between the Marcham and Hinksey Hill interchanges.
The driver, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed until about 8am while collision investigators attended the scene.
PC Gary Froud said: “We would like to hear from anyone that may have seen the vehicle prior to the collision or who witnessed the collision itself.”
