The Oxford University Conservative Association is investigating claims of racism that allegedly occurred during a meeting to determine its next president.
Two members have been suspended following the alleged incident at a hustings meeting on Sunday.
It is claimed members were asked to tell their ‘most inappropriate jokes’.
President Anthony Boutall said he did not hear any racist remarks but has called a disciplinary meeting for tomorrow.
He said: “I cannot reiterate strongly enough that OUCA has no place for racism, and abhors and rejects all racial prejudice.”
