Police are appealing for witnesses after a spate of burglaries in Harwell and Drayton.
There were three burglaries in Harwell - in Downs Close, The Winnaway and The Holloway - where the thieves managed to get into the properties through rear doors or by smashing the windows.
These all happened between 1.20pm and 2.45pm on Monday and on each occasion jewellery was stolen.
Between 8.50am and 4pm on the same day, a property on Steventon Road in Drayton was broken into. At this stage, it is not known if anything was stolen.
PC Maria Morrisey said: “A witness saw a dark metallic blue Audi A6 estate at one of the scenes, with two white men, in their mid-thirties in it.
“They were both in grey labouring trousers and jackets. One was wearing a dark beanie hat and the other a dark peaked cap.
“There was another person driving the vehicle who we don’t have a description of, so I am appealing to anyone who might have seen this car and the men in the area, to contact me.”
If you have any information about these incidents please contact PC Morrisey at Abingdon police station via 0845 8 505 505. If you do not want to talk to police, you can call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111 and remain anonymous.
