DOG owners are being urged to enter their pets in the Banbury and District Show.
The Up and Over Dog Training Club is staging the event at the show on June 14.
Among the categories will be most handsome, prettiest bitch, best veteran, best rescue waggiest tail and most appealing eyes.
There will also be a prize for junior handler aged 14 or under, best condition and the dog judges would most like to take home.
Organiser Ann Sewell, of Banbury Town Council, said: “These fun novelty classes are for all ages. No strenuous activity is involved on the part of the dog or owner.
“Just a good time to be had by all.”
Profits from the event, which costs £1.50 to enter, will be donated to Ardley Rescue Kennels, near Bicester.
Registration is from 11am on the day of the show.
Elsewhere, the family fun day will include a host of activities and attractions.
Taking place between 11am till 4pm at Spiceball Park, there will be a tug or war, horseback stunts and gymnastics by Jive Pony and a Sealed Knot display.
There will also be performances by the Suruj Banghra Dancers and the Banbury Air training Corps and Royal British Legion Bodicote Youth Band.
Tug of War teams must register with the town council, Bridge Street today. Registration is free.
