The M40 has now been reopened after a oil tanker caught on fire last night.
The fire happened when the truck carrying 30,000 litres of fuel was heading southbound along the road between Stokenchurch and Watlington.
The motorway was closed in both directions at around 8.30pm last night.
The northbound stretch was opened earlier this morning, but traffic is now using the southbound carriageway as well.
