USERS of Helen and Douglas House in Oxford walked and whizzed around Cotswold Wildlife Park to help raise funds for the hospice.
The annual event attracts people of all ages and abilities with people in wheelchairs as well as walkers.
Among those taking part on Saturday were Lynn Lewis and her son James, who uses Douglas House, and Kim Hall, who works at the hospice.
Sponsored walkers who raised a minimum of £20 got into the park near Burford free of charge.
Douglas House, next to Helen House in Magdalen Road, East Oxford, cares for people aged 16 to 35 with life-shortening conditions and was opened by the Queen in 2004.
James, 21, from Farmoor, has muscular dystrophy and has been visiting Douglas House since he was 18, following time spent next door at the children’s hospice Helen House.
Mrs Lewis said: “The weather was very wet but that didn’t stop about 50 families going round.
“James won a 15-inch colour TV in the raffle so he had a good day.
“It’s a very good way of raising money.”
