Drivers have been urged to take care on Oxfordshire’s roads this morning as the wet weekend weather continues.
More than 3cm of rain could fall on the county today to add to yesterday’s downpours, according to the Met Office, and there is surface water on the roads, although no routes are flooded.
The rivers Ray and Cole on the Thames have been placed on Floodwatch by the Environment Agency, which which means flooding of roads and low-lying land is expected.
The Met Office five-day forecast suggests some sunny spells by about 4pm this afternoon and some sunshine tomorrow.
But forecasters suggest the rain will be back on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with maximum temperatures of 17C.
