YOUNGSTERS can dress up in armour and train for battles during a medieval fair at Oxford Castle.
Thousands of people are expected to descend on the castle next weekend to get a taste of life in the Middle Ages.
It will be its third medieval fair, and the second time it has held a knights’ school — offering youngsters the chance to kit up as medieval knights under the watchful eyes of Edward ‘The Butcher’ Tiptoft, on his trusty steed Henry, and Sir Walter Rottersley.
