FARM animals kept youngsters entertained at a school in Abingdon.
Pupils at The Manor Prep School enjoyed meeting the various animals, including donkeys, lambs, chickens, ducks, piglets, goats, rabbits and guinea pigs.
However, there was one visitor, not found in a typical farmyard, who stole the show — Pepé the skunk. But there was no need to worry about him using his spray, as his scent glands had been removed.
It is hoped the fun farm day will become an annual event.
Karen Copson, headteacher at The Manor Prep, said: “Farm animals have long been a firm favourite in the pages of children’s first books. And the children were able to get up close with the real thing.
“Everyone had a fantastic day and it would be great if it can happen again next year.”
