One wonders what logic dictates the decisions made by large organisations sometimes.
A sizeable number of individuals have been mobilised in Culham and Appleford. They don’t think First Great Western is on the right track with one it has made recently.
The train operator is axing two off-peak services connecting Appleford to Oxford and three services connecting it with London, via Didcot. Culham station has also lost two weekday services.
Eighty people have pitched up at Appleford station, where there has been a train service for the past 160 years, to vent their anger.
It’s a shame FGW wasn’t standing for re-election yesterday, or we feel the turnout would have been a lot higher.
