A SUSPECTED rapist and a man accused of attempted murder in Oxford were last night named by Crimewatch as two of the 25 most wanted man in the country.
The BBC marked 25 years of the television programme with a special appeal last night and produced a list of nation’s most dangerous criminals.
Rohan Crooks, 31, is wanted by police for attempted murder in Blackbird Leys, Oxford, last October, when a cyclist was knocked down and dragged beneath a car.
Police are also trying to trace Serkawt Kadir, 23, who was charged with raping a 17-year-old girl in 2004 but disappeared when the case went to court.
He has not been seen since he was bailed to appear at Oxford Crown Court in January 2005 for the rape in Banbury in July 2004.
Kadir was featured in a Crimewatch appeal in May which prompted ten calls from the public, which police are investigating.
