A day of free events for businesses hosted by the Oxfordshire Economic Partnership will take place next month.
Skillsfest 2009 will offer free training taster sessions delivered by a range of specialist organisations.
They will include: • Business Improvement Techniques – Oxfordshire and Cherwell Valley College
• Developing Excellent Leaders - through an Emotionally Intelligent Coaching Culture – Leadershape
• Improving your Selling Techniques to Gain a Competitive Edge – Abingdon and Witney College
• Business Development Skills – Oxford Brookes University
• Managing Stress at Work – Restore
• Communication Skills - Oxfordshire County Council Adult Learning Service
Each session will run in the morning and again in the afternoon – times will be on the booking form.
Also available will be a session of personalised business mentoring with MD2MD.
Workshops and presentations on the day will include: • Leadership and Management Funding – Business Link
• Apprenticeships – Learning and Skills Council
• Presentation Skills – a participative demo - Toastmasters
• NLP for Business – Quadrant 1 International
The event takes place on July 1 at the Kassam Stadium, Grenoble Road, Oxford OX4 4XP from 10am-4pm.
