It is with great sadness that I read of the passing of Stephen Dallinson the kidney cancer sufferer, three hours after marrying his fiancee Olivia Glover. Stephen fought for drugs to save his life and others that were too expensive for the NHS to provide.
I have to ask how many more lives could have been saved or extended if the thousands of pounds claimed for expenses by our scandalous MPs over the years (mortgages that were already paid and floating duck houses to name but a few) had been in the pot for the NHS to provide these drugs.
These monies must be diverted to this worthy cause.
