Rubbish outside Oxford’s Covered Market was set on fire this morning, causing slight damage to a restaurant.
The incident, which is being treated as arson, took place in the High Street entrance to the market at about 3.45am.
A fire service spokesman said the blaze caused “light heat damage” to Pizza Hut.
