MPs are saying that they have done nothing wrong on expenses, and have followed the rules in the Green Book.
Therefore, would our local MPs explain why they didn’t take notice of the fact it says: Claims should be above reproach; claims must only be made for expenditure that was necessary for an MP to incur to ensure that they could properly perform their Parliamentary duties; MPs must ensure that claims do not give rise to improper personal financial benefit to themselves or anyone else; MPs are committed to openness about what expenditure has been incurred and for what purpose; and MPs should avoid purchases which could be seen as extravagant or luxurious.
May I suggest that they attend reading classes because they obviously cannot read properly – or had in fact deliberately broken rules.
