Police say they are concerned about the welfare of a missing pensioner and appealed to the public to help find him.

Walter Neal, 84, of Adkin Way, Wantage, was last seen at his home address at 9am yesterday.

Officers said he left home driving a grey/silver Vauxhall Corsa with the registration number OE51 DJV.

He is described as 5ft 6ins, medium build with receding white hair and beard. He can be unsteady on his feet and usually walks with the help of sticks. He also wears glasses.

Insp Mark Johns said: “We are very concerned for Walter’s welfare and would urge anyone who sees the car or a man fitting Walter’s description to contact us immediately.”
