There have been few stories that have shocked and sickened the community as much as that of the attack on Japanese student Kentaro Ikeda.
The 27-year-old Oxford University student was dragged off his bicycle and hit over the head with a hefty lock as he rode home in the small hours.
It was an act of unparalleled cowardice and thuggery carried out by two local nobodies – Thomas Mack and Craig Knowles.
The pair are now serving a combined 16 years in jail – but their sentence is not enough.
Oxford owes Kentaro Ikedo — so let’s all get behind Mary Clarkson’s campaign.
