A TODDLER from Oxford has tested positive for swine flu.
Oxfordshire Primary Care Trust today confirmed a two-year-old boy is being treated with anti-viral drugs after contracting the Influenza H1N1 virus.
The PCT described the boy as a “close household contact” to a 29-year-old woman who tested positive for swine flu yesterday. The woman had recently returned from a trip to the USA.
A PCT spokesman said all close contacts to toddler were being monitored but that he does not attend any schools, playgroups or toddler groups.
She refused to explain what a “close household contact” meant.
