WITNEY MP David Cameron has apologised for the conduct of Tory MPs in the parliamentary expenses row.
Of course, while many MPs are saying sorry, they are probably just sorry they have been caught.
They are now making promises which I have neither the time nor the patience to listen to.
And they have the nerve to blame the country’s current problems on bankers’ bonuses.
MPs expenses must have seemed like brilliant bonuses – not for doing anything, but just for being there.
Soon they will be coming round again, pleading for votes.
But there will be severe consequences, and they will realise just how angry and unforgiving the public can be.
How on earth can these MPs be trusted?
Believe me, this is only going to get worse. There must be plenty of MPs dreading the next day’s newspapers – not knowing what will come out next.
