A MAN was beaten up by a teenage gang brandishing a baseball bat in a late night attack.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack in Easington Road, Banbury, at 12.15am on Saturday<<16/05>>.
A 28-year-old man was approached by four boys in their late teens.
One of them attacked him with a baseball bat.
Det Con Rebecca McCamley said: “This was an unprovoked attack on a man walking home from an evening out with friends.
“I appeal to anyone who was in this area of Banbury late on Friday night, or in the early hours of Saturday, and saw a group of four people acting suspiciously to contact police immediately.”
The man was taken to the Horton Hospital, in Banbury, for treatment.
