Wallingford made it two wins from two with a comfortable success at home to Leighton Buzzard Town 2nd in Division 5. Only Sam Janes (46) prospered against the wiles of Trevor Spindler (4-46) as Town were rumbled for 136. Mark Bowman (47) then set the hosts on their way before his brother Alan (39no) saw them to a four wicket win.

Piers Myatt took 5-32 in a devastating 17 over spell as Bicester & North Oxford 2nd succumbed for just 75 at Great & Little Tew 2nd. Earlier Dave Freeman (34) and Robbie Catling (35no) had taken Tew to 172-6, while Andrew Wingfield-Digby (4-53) had shone with the ball.

A high-scoring encounter between Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts 2nd and Abingdon Vale 2nd ended in a draw with honours even. Nondies' 236-6 was built around Ryan Allen (63) and Rupert Taylor (72no). Vale's 212-4 featured good knocks by Michael Howe-Davies (43), Phil Evans (70no) and Chris Butcher (49). Taylor took 3-42.

Chearsley's Marc Hignall took 4-8 but Challow & Childrey 2nd's tail stood firm to force a draw. Russell Haynes had hit 93 in Chearsley's 189-9, which Challow never looked like reaching as they crawled to 120-8. Luke Jones top-scored with 30.

Jonty Cooke (71), Joe White (42) and Jamie Coles (59no) saw Banbury 3rd to an impressive eight-wicket success at Bledlow Ridge 2nd. Ridge had managed a competitive 197-5 after choosing to bat first, with Phil Brooks hitting 76, but it was not enough.
