VOLUNTEERS made sure that the chickens, goats, rabbits and guinea pigs at Mulberry School in 1983 were well cared for. Hugh Williamson, Nadia Brunell and Jenny Lee are seen in the picture immediately below building a new set of enclosures for the school pets.

The first pipe organ to be installed in St Giles Church was dedicated by the Bishop of Dorchester, the Rt Rev DG Loveday, in 1967, middle. Earlier, the church had relied on a harmonium and small electronic organ to provide music for services. The pipe organ had been bought from a church in Derbyshire.

In the bottom picture, the rector, the Rev A Gibbon, shows Neil Marten, MP for North Oxfordshire, one of the displays in the village flower festival in 1965.
