A severe weather warning has been issued for Oxfordshire.
The Met Office has advised motorists to take care on the roads as heavy downpours are expected to continue.
Heavy rain hit overnight and further thunderstorms are expected today.
Today, some roads were affected by flash flooding.
The A329 Reading Road, in Streatley, is just passable due to flooding, as is the A4155 at Medmenham, near the Danesfield House Hotel.
According to the Met Office weather station at RAF Benson, one-and-a-half inches of rain fell during a 90-minute spell last night leaving the county drenched.
The Met Office said light rain was forecast for tomorrow, and heavy rain for Sunday.
Today there will be a maximum temperature of 16C, dropping to 7C tonight.
According to the Environment Agency, there are ten Flood Watches on the River Thames, which means low-lying land and roads could be flooded, but none of the warnings apply to stretches of the river in Oxfordshire
