Burglars broke into two homes which were being renovated.
Police are warning residents after a burglary in Aston Upthorpe, near Didcot, at around 3am on Tuesday.
Burglars stole work tools including a jackhammer, a generator, a hedge trimmer, a power washer and a lawnmower, which have all since been recovered.
Another house being renovated was burgled in Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, near Wallingford, overnight on April 23.
Fixtures and fittings were stolen, together with jewellery and a DVD player.
Pc Emma Wright said: “We are interested in speaking to anyone who saw anything suspicious in these areas.”
“If you are having your property renovated, please be vigilant. Put away and secure work tools and equipment overnight. Record all serial numbers and mark tools with UV markers, which are available from police stations.”
