Police are appealing for witnesses to a road collision on the A41 in Waddesdon on Sunday, in which a motorcyclist was seriously injured.
A blue BMW and a black Mercedes collided on the road at about 3.10pm. A motorcycle then collided with the back of the BMW, causing the motorcyclist to be thrown off his vehicle.
The police helicopter airlifted the male motorcyclist to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, with serious injuries. He is in a critical but stable condition.
The male driver of the Mercedes and the female passenger in the BMW were taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the Mercedes, a 20-year-old man, has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving. He has been released on bail until Tuesday, June 9.
PC Howard Davies said: “I would like to hear from anyone who saw the vehicles prior to the collision or who witnessed the collision itself.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Davies at Aylesbury Roads Policing base via 0845 8 505 505. If you don’t want to speak to police or leave your name, call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
