The spotlight is today on the historic toll bridge at Swinford, near Eynsham, near Oxford.
London-based HLL Humberts Leisure will at lunchtime make an announcement "of significant local interest" where it expected the toll bridge will be put up for sale.
If that is the case, a question mark hangs over whether the tolls would be scrapped.
A journey over the bridge costs 5p for cars.
However, it remains to be seen whether a special act of Parliament would be required to scrap the tolls.
