Oxford-based radio station Jack FM is celebrating winning two major accolades at the 2009 Sony Awards, which are the radio industry's 'Oscars'.
The station, which broadcasts from Woodstock Road, won a silver award for its jingles and a bronze award for news editor Greg Burke’s week-long special report on the British Army, live from Afghanistan.
Jack FM, which has been broadcasting for less than two years, has also been nominated for an Arqiva Commercial Radio award, the results of which are announced on Friday, June 5.
