I WAS recently discharged from the John Radcliffe Hospital.
It was my first experience of being an in-patient in any hospital, despite being in my 89th year.
I cannot praise enough the cheerfulness and tender loving care I received from the doctors, nurses, and everyone I came in to contact with, on Ward 7E.
The beds were stripped every day and replaced with clean laundry and the ward was kept meticulously clean.
The food, with varied menus, was appetising and beautifully presented, and the view from the window looked out across the countryside, which all added to my enjoyable stay and recovery.
