Police are appealing for witnesses after a fire in Cowley on Saturday.
At about 11.15pm, an object, believed to be a firework, was pushed through the letterbox of an address in Crescent Road.
PC Andrew Reid said: “Fortunately nobody was injured as a result of the incident thanks to them having a smoke alarm fitted.
“I appeal to anyone who was in this area of Cowley on Saturday evening and saw anybody acting suspiciously to contact police immediately.”
