Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision near Burford.

As he approached the B4425 junction with the A40, there was a collision with a Renault blue and silver camper van, travelling west from Burford.

The injured motorcyclist, a man in his thirties from Bath, was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, with life-threatening injuries. He remains in a serious condition.

PC David Roberts-Ablett said: “The injured man was travelling with a group of other bikers, so I am hopeful people will remember seeing them and the collision.
