A man is due in court this afternoon charged with the attempted murder of his ex-partner.
Benjamin Thompson, 26, of Hurst Street, Oxford, was released last night from the city's John Radcliffe Hospital, where he was recovering from stab wounds.
He was charged this morning with attempted murder and will appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court.
The charge follows an incident in a house in Hurst Street on Wednesday April 29.
A 21-year-old woman, who has not been named, remains in hospital in a stable condition with stab wounds.
