A 20-year-old man is due in court today after a pedestrian suffered severe head injuries in a collision in Oxford’s city centre.
Oliver East, of Bell Lane, Wheatley, is charged with dangerous driving and causing grievous bodily harm.
The charges relate to a collision between a silver Peugeot 306 and pedestrian in St Aldates, near Christ Church College, at about 7pm on Saturday, February 7.
The pedestrian, a 60-year-old man, sustained serious head injuries.
Bell is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today.
