THE all-star cast of the new film of Jonathan Swift’s classic story Gulliver’s Travels have started their first week of filming at Blenheim Palace.
Gavin and Stacey actor James Corden. left, Doctor Who star Catherine Tate, with her back to camera and with red hair, have been joined by Hollywood funnyman Jack Black, right, and Scottish comedian Billy Connolly, centre, in white costume, for four weeks of filming in Woodstock.
Blenheim’s chief executive John Hoy said: “It’s an enjoyable change to have filming on site, because it gives visitors something different to see. Film tourism is growing, with people going hunting for places they’ve seen on screen.
“It will be a very high-profile film, so when it comes out next year, I’m sure it will be good for Blenheim Palace.”
