A motorcyclist is in hospital after suffering serious injuries in an accident on the A40 west of Oxford last night.
The man was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital following the collision, about a mile west of Wolvercote roundabout, at 6.20pm.
Danny Donovan, a spokesman for Thames Valley Police, said the crash involved a blue Audi A4 convertible and a yellow Suzuki motorbike.
He added: “The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the crash.”
It is not known if the man's injuries were life-threatening.
The eastbound lane was blocked while the emergency services dealt with the crash.
