Two men arrested in connection with a hammer attack at a Kidlington pub have been bailed to return to a police station today.
The two men, a 28-year-old and a 34-year-old, were in custody yesterday after being arrested in connection with the attack at the Red Lion pub in Banbury Road, on Monday at 5.30pm.
The victim, who is in his 60s, is recovering from a serious head injury.
Danny Donovan, a spokesman for Thames Valley Police, said: “The two men have been released on police bail to return at 3pm this afternoon.”
