FASHION models took over Oxford’s Bonn Square today as they paraded on the catwalk to promote the city’s first fashion week.
Students from Oxford University donned the latest fashion designs and were joined by around 50 members of the public who took their chance to walk down the red carpet.
The fashion week, which starts on Sunday and is hoped to rival the shows in London, will see the city awash with models, stylists and collections from some of the world’s best-known names in fashion, such as Alexander McQueen, French Connection, Zara and LK Bennett.
Organiser Carl Anglim said: “This was a great taster for Oxford Fashion Week and helped get people in the mood for some catwalk glamour.
“It was nice to roll out the red carpet in Bonn Square and make it a bit more engaging and a bit more fun.” Pictured on the catwalk are, from left, Caroline Davies, Hayley Owen and Stacey Hurst For tickets to any of the shows email tickets@oxfordfashionweek.org
