Fire crews were called to a house in East Oxford after a blaze broke out in the early hours today.
The fire started at the three-bedroomed terraced house in Percy Street, shortly after 1am.
Crews from Rewley Road and The Slade stations tackled the blaze and a 59-year-old woman was taken to hospital after suffering smoke inhalation.
A spokesman for Oxfordshire Fire Service said: “The fire caused smoke damage to the property and is thought to have started accidentally.”
