A FEAST of information about all things bridal was on offer at the Oxford Mail Wedding Fayre and Bridal Fashion Show yesterday.
Brides-to-be, bridesmaids, grooms and families all passed through the door of the Spread Eagle Hotel, in Cornmarket, Thame. Two fashion shows featuring bridle wear by Anna McDonald Bridal Gallery were held at 11.30am and 1.30pm.
Nikki Laurence, from Bedfordshire, was the 50th bride-to-be through the door of the hotel and was given a bottle of Champagne by host master Peter York.
Exhibitors included jewellers and florists, while other stands had ideas for wedding videos, entertainment, cakes, balloons, wedding accessories and transport options such as a horse and carriage.
Every bride-to-be received a goody bag. Mail exhibition manager Rachel Legg, said: “We were really excited to have a wedding fayre in Thame. It’s one of south Oxfordshire’s premier venues.”
Hotel manager Peter Farquhar said: “It has been a very good opportunity to join with the Oxford Mail and remind people that the Spread Eagle is here.”
