U’s captain Adam Murray has vowed his team will do all they can to win promotion.
Speaking in today’s Oxford United programme notes, he said: “We have got ourselves into a great position and we will be doing all we can to keep our side of the deal and win today’s game.
“Then it is in the lap of the Gods what happens in other games and if we can make it through to the play-offs.”
Fans have begun piling in to the Kassam Stadium ahead of today’s game with Northwich.
Murray said: “However it ends up I think we will all look back at this season as one to remember.
“It has been a brilliant run and on behalf of all the players I would like to thank the fans for their backing.”
